Why we changed our name.
Aqua Beachwear was originally named The Beach House Swimwear, which opened on Sanibel Island, Florida in 1974. Don and Mary Bauer, owners of The Beach House Swimwear since 1994, decided to select a fresh new name for the swimwear company since their plans included expansion into other markets. The new alluring name "Aqua Beachwear" was selected because of it's soothing and relaxing association with water. At Aqua Beachwear, women who once avoided shopping for swimwear, now look forward to it thanks to the expertise Aqua Beachwear has become famous for. After each experience, women walk out feeling confident and better than ever!
